About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our office in Melbourne’s South East, reporting to the Marketing Manager. You will play an integral role within the marketing department across Sherrin, Spalding and Russell Athletic by supporting the implementation of marketing initiatives and assisting in driving the strategic marketing objectives for the three brands.

You will be responsible for providing support to the Marketing Manager on a variety of campaigns and projects including sports marketing, digital marketing, retail marketing, Public Relations, Creative Development, Events, Administration Support and Brand Management.

In fulfilling these duties, you will be given the opportunity to utilize your communications and creative skills to assist in the service and ROI of our key athletes and partners by maximising leverage opportunities across the NBA, Basketball Australia and the AFL, liaise with digital and PR agencies, implement the retail marketing strategy across all three brands, and assist in coordinating events, launches and other brand activations.

About You

You will need to demonstrate prior industry experience, with 1 - 2 years’ experience desirable in an administration or coordination role in a marketing team across sports, retail, product

You will have an undergraduate degree or diploma in marketing, communications or similar qualification

You will possess effective project management and organisational skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas and manage multiple stakeholders

You will be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and website development platforms

You will have a high attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and take on requested duties in a professional and respectful manner
