MELBOURNE has narrowed its list to three players for its prized No.3 selection at next month's NAB AFL Draft.
Demons recruiting manager Jason Taylor revealed on this week's Road to the Draft podcast, brought to you by Hostplus, that the club had whittled down its options for the selection.

West Australian ruckman Luke Jackson, who gave up a promising basketball career last year to focus on his football, is in the group of players in contention to head to the Dees.
"He'd be in that mix, I'd say. We've done a fair bit of work on Luke, particularly in the latter part of the year where he was able to go forward," Taylor said.
"I was fortunate to go and see him live play forward a bit more and he does have some flexibility in his game. We don't purely see him as a ruckman only.
"He's a unique player in that sense, but obviously there's other players who have some high-end qualities in their game."
Taylor said the 199cm East Fremantle product would likely start his career as a forward at senior level.
Melbourne was approached during the Telstra AFL Trade Period with offers for pick No.3 but held onto the selection, however Taylor said discussions were continuing with rivals over possible deals with their top-10 picks (No.3 and 8).
Left-footed half-back Hayden Young is also being considered for the Dees' top choice, while they are mulling over placing a bid on Greater Western Sydney Academy star Tom Green.

Taylor, who was in charge of Melbourne's recruiting when it placed top-three bids on Sydney pair Isaac Heeney (in 2014) and Callum Mills (in 2015), said midfielder Green shapes as a star.
"His footy speaks for itself, his character's high end, he's got leadership and he's just going to be a fantastic player," he said.
While the Demons look likely to shape the top of the draft with their first pick, Taylor said the club was excited in the talent available at its No.8 pick, too.
