GREATER Western Sydney will be the first club to host a double-header for premiership points when the Giants' AFL and AFLW sides play a home game on the same day next season.
The Giants' round seven clash of the AFLW season against Geelong will be played ahead of the club's season opener of AFL Premiership season, also against the Cats, on Saturday, March 21.
The fixtures will be played at Giants Stadium, with the women's match to kick things off at 5.10pm.

GWS chief executive Dave Matthews said the piece of history will be a massive event for the club.
"The club is delighted to be able to host this historic double-header at Giants Stadium which is one of the AFL's premier venues for fan experience," he said on Tuesday.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the best of the AFLW and AFL competitions on what will be a significant occasion for the club and the code."

It's not the only time the Giants' two teams will co-exist, with the club also playing two games in the Riverina earlier in March.

The AFLW side will play a 'home' game against Richmond at Robertson Oval in Wagga Wagga on Saturday, March 7, also at 5.10pm, before the AFL team finishes its Marsh Community Series against the Tigers the following day in a rematch of this year's Grand Final.
There will be no AFLW home games played at UNSW Canberra Oval next season, with the Giants' second home ground not available because of the ICC Women's T20 cricket World Cup.
