BRISBANE has announced its new jumper numbers for 2020, with Hawthorn recruit Grant Birchall to keep the No.14 he made famous at the Hawks.
Birchall played 232 of his 248 games with the brown and gold wearing the 14 and will do so again in Lions' colours next season.

The off-season delisting of Josh Walker by the Lions kept the door open for Birchall to retain the number.
The four-time premiership player is not the only new face in Brisbane to keep his number from a previous club.

Former Crow Cam Ellis-Yolmen will wear the No.28, a jumper he wore for all 39 career games with Adelaide.
Gold Coast recruit Callum Ah Chee will wear No.4, vacated by the departing Ryan Bastinac and made most famous at the Lions by triple premiership small forward Craig McRae.
Untried Connor McFadyen has decided to switch numbers, going from 45 to No.26, made possible after Tom Cutler was traded to Essendon.
