COLLINGWOOD has been fined $1500 after Travis Cloke wore a non-compliant glove during the Pies' win over Greater Western Sydney.
Cloke wore the glove to protect two swollen fingers on his right hand, mistakenly believing it had been ticked-off by the AFL.
The Pies spearhead used to wear a glove regularly but stopped about a year ago.
The League contacted Collingwood about the issue and after receiving a written reply has slapped the Pies with a fine for Cloke's unsanctioned handwear.
Cloke produced his best performance of the season against the Giants, taking 12 marks and booting four goals last Saturday after a difficult year to date.
