RICHMOND has re-signed young wingman Connor Menadue for a further two seasons as the club focuses its attention firmly on list management.

The Tigers, who have conceded they cannot play finals in 2016, have a host of players coming out of contract at the end of this season.

Menadue, who has established himself as a member of the Tigers' best team in his second season, is now contracted to the end of the 2018 season.

The 19-year-old has played 11 games this season, winning 19 possessions and kicking two goals in his best match, against the Brisbane Lions two weeks ago.

Football manager Dan Richardson told richmondfc.com.au that the club was impressed with Menadue’s progress.

"Connor has already shown exciting signs in first two seasons at the club," Richardson said.

"He is still very young but we are confident he is firmly in our future plans.

"We are delighted to extend his contract beyond 2016 and look forward to seeing his career continue to develop."

Menadue was recruited with pick No.33 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft.

Key players Nick Vlastuin and Corey Ellis re-signed with the Tigers last month.

Reece Conca, Ty Vickery, Shaun Grigg, David Astbury and Ben Griffiths are among a host of Tigers unsigned beyond this season.
