WEEK one of the NAB AFL Trade Period is done and dusted.
But with some major deals - including swaps for Jaeger O'Meara, Jordan Lewis, Dion Prestia and Bryce Gibbs – up in the air, a frenzied last four days could unfold when official paperwork can be lodged again from 9am on Monday.
Behind-the-scenes negotiations are set to continue across the weekend as the countdown clock ticks away towards Thursday's 2pm trade deadline.

Could the Dons drop a Jaeger bomb?
Hawthorn's bold move to swap a future first-round pick and two second-round picks (23 and 36) in this year's NAB AFL Draft to get hold of St Kilda's pick 10 could be the decisive move in the Hawks' plans to secure Jaeger O'Meara.
But what if the Hawks can't satisfy the Suns?
The Herald Sun is reporting that Gold Coast demanded Hawthorn's pick 14 – since traded to the Swans – a future pick and a player, with tough nut Liam Shiels a candidate to head north, in talks this week.
Pick 10 should help the Hawks appease the Suns, but Essendon is waiting in the wings and could have the salary cap space to launch a raid to snare O'Meara with pick No.1 in the pre-season draft.

Mitchell taking one for the team
It was a sad day for Hawks fans to wave goodbye to all-time great Sam Mitchell as he packed his bags for West Coast on Friday.
But while he is moving to further his coaching ambitions, the five-time club champion and four-time premiership player also hopes his decision to leave helps others stay at Waverley.
"I feel like I am doing the right thing for Hawthorn," Mitchell told the Herald Sun.
"I don’t like reading stories about Luke Breust getting pushed out, or Will Langford getting pushed out, or Liam Shiels ... If I can take one for all of them, I am glad about that.
"I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t helping me, of course. Hawthorn came to me with it. I have helped them out of bit of a bind, but I am also bettering my opportunities at the same time. I am very excited to go to a really successful club that I think I can help."
Decision time for Hamling
Western Bulldogs defender Joel Hamling is weighing up a return to Fremantle and is set to make a decision on his playing future soon.
WA Today reports that the Broome product has told Dockers coach Ross Lyon he will decide whether to take up a three-year offer reportedly on the table this weekend.
Hamling, 23, is considering a return home for personal reasons, but another attraction of joining Fremantle is the chance to play alongside best mate Shane Kersten, who is all-but certain to be traded to the Dockers from Geelong.
Meanwhile, West Coast has signalled its interest in Hamling's teammate Marcus Adams, who is homesick and keen to return to Perth but has another year to run on his contract at the Kennel.
Power out of Vardy race, how does Gibbs deal get done?
West Coast appears to be the frontrunner for Geelong's injury-prone big man Nathan Vardy as the Eagles search the country for ruck reinforcements.
Vardy had a medical assessment with the Eagles this week and, although Port Adelaide has been in the mix for the 199cm ruck-forward, The Advertiser reports the Power is now out of the running.
The newspaper also reports that Greater Western Sydney isn't interested in helping broker Bryce Gibbs' move from Carlton to Adelaide.
The Giants are dealing with the Blues for Caleb Marchbank and Jarrod Pickett but won't be getting involved in a three-way trade to break-open the Gibbs stalemate.
"That is for them (the Crows) and Carlton to work out," Giants list manager Craig Cameron said.
