BULLDOG Tory Dickson's spell on the sidelines is set to continue with a quad injury the forward's latest setback.

The 28-year-old hasn't played since week two of the NAB Challenge due to an adductor complaint, and was set to face Fremantle on the weekend before the training mishap.

Bulldogs' football manger Graham Lowe said the club is hopeful Dickson will be ready to face Carlton at Etihad Stadium in round four, but that will mean the goalsneak would not have played in nearly six weeks.

 “Tory was on track to play against Fremantle, after recovering from an adductor strain from NAB one, but he suffered a minor quad strain in the last training of the week," Lowe said.

“He’s a two-to-three week recovery time, so we’re expecting him to be available round four.”

His absence was hardly missed against the Dockers, with the young Bulldogs thrashing Ross Lyon's hardened outfit by 65 points.

Dickson was an integral part of the Dogs' resurgence in 2015 kicking 50 goals, and his forward pressure was lauded by Luke Beveridge.

In better news for the coach, ruckmen Tom Campbell (ankle) and Will Minson (hamstring) are both back in full training and in the frame to face St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
