ADELAIDE midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen looks set to remain at the Crows next year.

Ellis-Yolmen, 23, is contracted to the Crows for 2017 but after playing just two senior games this season he was understood to be weighing up his options in the hopes of playing more regular football at AFL level.

But Ellis-Yolmen's manager Ben Williams told NAB AFL Trade Radio on Wednesday that the powerful midfielder was more likely than not to remain at the Crows next year.

Williams also represents Hawthorn defender Kaiden Brand and confirmed the out-of-contract defender is set to sign a two-year deal to remain at the Hawks.

Williams has been working with Hawks' list manager Graham Wright on finalising the deal but the news of Sam Mitchell's potential trade to West Coast among other trade issues has slowed the process.

"We're pretty close to finalising a deal there," Williams said.

"We've just basically got to dot the i's and cross the t's. 

"(Graham Wright) has got a bit on his plate but I imagine we'll get that done shortly."

Brand played 11 games in 2016 and was named the Hawks' best first-year player despite being in his fourth year on the list.
