WESTERN Bulldogs defender Marcus Adams has been ruled out for at least the next two games to nurse a foot injury.
The 23-year-old suffered a mid-foot sprain late in Saturday's four-point win over the Sydney Swans and will now be required to wear a moon boot for the next fortnight.
"He'll be in a boot for 10 days to two weeks and once he comes out of the boot, we'll assess him with a view to providing a return to play after that," Bulldogs football boss Graham Lowe told the club's website on Monday.
Adams has played 11 games since being recruited by the Bulldogs as a mature-age key defender with pick No.35 in last year's NAB AFL Draft.
Fellow draftee Bailey Williams will spend up to the next month on the sidelines to recover from a strained medial ligament he picked up at training last week.
"It's not a major one, but he'll be out of play for three to four weeks, so we just need to get that one settled down … and get him ready to play as quickly as we can," Lowe said.
In better news, Lowe confirmed midfielder Luke Dahlhaus would begin running duties this week as he continued his rehabilitation from a left medial ligament injury he sustained against Port Adelaide in round 12.
