NORTH Melbourne coach Brad Scott will face the media on Monday afternoon to address his comments made about umpires in the aftermath of the Kangaroos' loss to Hawthorn.
AFL.com.au will stream Scott's media conference LIVE from 3.30pm AEST, with the Roos coach speaking for the first time since his remarkable outburst claiming that umpires admitted to his players they refused to pay high free kicks to Lindsay Thomas.
The Roos have since withdrawn the statements, with the club saying it was "embarrassed" after discovering the allegations were untrue.
"The club is embarrassed by, and accepts full responsibility for, the situation that has unfolded and unreservedly apologises to the umpires for any distress it may have caused them," the Roos said in a statement.
"The club accepts its players are not umpired differently and the umpires do not have "pre-conceived ideas" going into games."
Scott is facing a sanction from the AFL, which will be determined early this week.
