ST KILDA midfielder Jack Steven faces a dilemma after the club's best and fairest night was scheduled on the same night as the All Australian dinner.
Steven was the only Saint nominated in the All Australian squad of 40 announced on Monday.
He has never made the team before, but was part of the squad in 2013.
The 26-year-old also looms as the favourite to take out the Trevor Barker Award for the third time in his career.
That event will be held at Crown Palladium while the All Australian side will be named at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
It is about a 10-minute walk between the two locations, opening the possibility that Steven could attend both events if necessary.
Steven is in contention to captain the team next season after a stellar season that saw him average 28 disposals and rank second in the competition for inside 50s.
