AN END-OF-season exit meeting between Collingwood officials and premiership forward Travis Cloke on Monday is expected to give both parties a clearer picture of his future at the Magpies.
The 29-year-old spearhead is contracted at the Magpies until the end of next season, but is understood to be considering his future after being dropped three times during 2016.
Cloke kicked two goals for the Magpies against Hawthorn and took a spectacular mark in the second quarter to show he is still capable at the senior level.
Half of the Magpies' list was meeting coaches on Monday after Collingwood missed finals for the third consecutive year.
The Magpies have been adamant that Cloke is a required player, but senior coach Nathan Buckley made it clear the Magpies forward line would be built around emerging forward Darcy Moore for the next decade.
The Magpies also have high hopes for American recruit Mason Cox who was impressive in his first season of senior football, playing 11 games.
Cloke's name has been linked with the Western Bulldogs, which lost big forward Jack Redpath to a knee injury in 2016.
Both Cloke and Cox kicked 17 goals this year in a forward line decimated by injury.
The Magpies' leading goalkicker in 2016 was Alex Fasolo who kicked 25 goals in 12 games.
It was the fewest number of goals kicked by the leading goalkicker at Collingwood since Keith Bromage booted 22 in 1954.
Collingwood announced last week that three players from the 2010 premiership team in Dane Swan, Brent Macaffer and Alan Toovey were retiring.
