RICHMOND has begun what is expected to be an off-season of upheaval to its playing stocks by delisting tall forward Liam McBean and mature-aged rookie Adam Marcon.

The Tigers have run out of patience with McBean, who was recruited to the club with a second-round pick, No.33 overall, in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft.

The 202cm big man had his chance to impress between rounds 16-18 this season but managed only six, 12 and seven disposals, also kicking the solitary goal of his career.

McBean leaves Punt Road after playing five career games.

Marcon was recruited in last year's rookie draft as a 23-year-old after dominating at VFL level for Williamstown and played two matches this season.

He was elevated for his debut against Greater Western Sydney in round 19, gathering 16 touches and laying five tackles, but was dropped despite picking up 22 touches and booting a goal the next week against Collingwood.

McBean and Marcon join retired 215-game defender Troy Chaplin in exiting the Tigers, while AFL.com.au revealed 2013 first-round draft pick Ben Lennon has also asked to be traded after a lack of opportunities.

Gold Coast midfielder Dion Prestia confirmed earlier on Wednesday that he wants to be traded to Richmond.
