PORT Adelaide midfielder Hamish Hartlett is set to miss up to a month with a calf injury, but the Power expect him to return before the end of the season.
Scans revealed Hartlett suffered a grade one to two strain to his calf after he experienced tightness in the warm up ahead of the Power's clash against the Brisbane Lions on Sunday that forced him to be a late withdrawal.
Port high performance manager Darren Burgess is hopeful the 25-year-old will be fit for the club's Showdown against Adelaide in round 22.
"Hammer will be pushing for the Showdown, but I think he's probably more likely to be a round 23 chance," Burgess told the club's website.
"That said if he's clear to return he'll be available for selection."
On Monday, Port revealed Charlie Dixon was pushing to return from an ankle injury against Melbourne in round 21.
