THE BRISBANE Lions have spoken to other clubs about trading pick No. 2 and would be willing to do a deal for two top-10 selections or a pick and a player.
However, they are yet to hear an offer that suits their needs, says Lions list manager Peter Schwab.
AFL.com.au reported on Thursday that the Lions were no certainties to keep No. 2.
"We haven't categorically said we'll keep pick two. We're open to looking at a deal to see what that may look like. Right at the moment, we've got pick two and we're very happy with it," Schwab told reporters at the NAB AFL Draft Combine on Friday.
"We wouldn't give it away without (a deal) clearly benefiting us, and right at the moment there's not a deal that's benefiting us."

As to how a deal could be done, Schwab knew what would be required.
"(A trade) could be a combination of picks. It could be a pick and a player," he said.
The Lions hold No. 2, 19, 21 and 29 in the NAB AFL Draft. They received a priority pick at the end of the first round on Thursday.
"Ideally, no club wants to be in a position where it's asking for a priority pick, because it means we're not performing well. Let's hope it's the last time the Brisbane Lions are getting a priority pick," he said.
"But having asked for one, we're very pleased that we received pick 19."
