- Dons drop young pair
- Demons to head to the SCG unchanged

The Swans have lost Kurt Tippett (hamstring), Harry Marsh (hamstring) and Jeremy Laidler (knee) to injury while Harry Cunningham has been omitted.

Ruckman Toby Nankervis comes in for just his second game of the season. George Hewett, Aliir Aliir and Dean Towers also return.

Key defender Ted Richards remains sidelined with concussion.

The Demons have named an unchanged line-up following last Monday's win over Collingwood.

Greater Western Sydney has lost ruckman Shane Mumford to an ankle injury, with the key big man joining veteran Steve Johnson (foot) on the sidelines for Sunday's match against Essendon.

"He (Mumford) got through half of training and we were confident that he'd be OK, but he's actually a bit sorer than we first thought so he's not going to play," coach Leon Cameron said.

The Giants have named Matt Kennedy to make his debut and Tom Downie comes in for his first game this season.

The Bombers have made two changes with Kyle Langford and Shaun Edwards both omitted.

Defenders Michael Hartley and Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti return in their place.

North Melbourne has been cruelled by injury ahead of Friday night's blockbuster against a strengthened Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium, with key forward Jarrad Waite joining a host of key players on the sidelines.

The Kangaroos have ruled out captain Andrew Swallow (concussion) and important midfielder Ben Cunnington (quad), with Waite now unavailable due to a hip injury.

Coach Brad Scott has called on Majak Daw for his third game this season to cover Waite, while Farren Ray, Trent Dumont and debutant Corey Wagner have also been named.

The Hawks, who enter favourites against the ladder leaders, will be bolstered by gun midfielder Sam Mitchell, while ruckman Jon Ceglar and Taylor Duryea also return.

Will Langford, Angus Litherland and Marc Pittonet have all been dropped.

The Western Bulldogs have made two changes for Saturday night's top-four clash at Etihad Stadium, with tall defender Marcus Adams returning from a finger injury.

Joel Hamling has been dropped to make way for Adams, while Lin Jong returns to cover for injured forward Luke Dahlhaus (knee).

Geelong will be bolstered by key forward Tom Hawkins, who returns from suspension and replaces Darcy Lang in the Cats' only change.

Port Adelaide has dropped half-back Jared Polec for its clash against Fremantle at Domain Stadium on Saturday, with Karl Amon recalled after an impressive turn in the SANFL.

The Dockers regain former captain Matthew Pavlich and have dropped key forward Jack Hannath.

Journeyman Jonathan Giles will make his debut for West Coast, after ruckman Scott Lycett was suspended by the club and joined injured ruckman Nic Naitanui (Achilles) on the sidelines.

Midfielders Xavier Ellis and Liam Duggan have been omitted, with Sydney Swans recruit Lewis Jetta recalled for his second game since round seven.

Premiership defender Sam Butler returns, while tall forward Fraser McInnes has been selected for his second game this season.

The Brisbane Lions have made five changes after their humiliating 83-point loss to Fremantle, with Trent West, Nick Robertson and Dan McStay all dropped, joining injured pair Tom Bell (knee) and Harris Andrews (groin) on the sidelines.

Ryan Lester, Josh Walker, Claye Beams and Marco Paparone have been recalled, while Eric Hipwood will make his debut.
