IT IS bye round eve. That time of the year for NAB AFL Fantasy coaches where strategy is king.
This season, default leagues are on hold over the next three weeks.
While there are no head-to-head match ups, coaches are able to use the two trades per week to help improve their side when the match-up roster resumes in round 14.
Cashing up in the next couple of weeks and getting in some big premiums is the strategy of choice for the run home towards the Fantasy finals.
Coaches playing for the overall prize will be wanting to score as many points as they can over the next three weeks.
The bye rounds are known as ‘moving rounds’ in the Fantasy community as those who have planned well will be in a good place to charge up the rankings.
The rules over the byes change a little.
You will select your starting team of 22 as normal, but only your best 18 players will count towards your score. With a third of the players unavailable each week, this is still a challenge.
Use your two trades per week to get as many players on the field in each round to maximise your score.
Trading this week should be with the next two weeks in mind - making some cash so that you are able to upgrade over rounds 12 and 13.
