ADELAIDE defence coach Darren Milburn has quit the club to return home to Victoria, headlining a number of changes to the club's football department.
The Crows are yet to announce their senior coach for season 2016, although the club expects to be in a position to do so shortly after the AFL Grand Final.
Milburn was lured to West Lakes by former teammate Brenton Sanderson in 2012 and has helped the likes of Daniel Talia and Jake Lever take huge steps forward in their respective careers.
Brett Burton will return to the club as its high performance manager, replacing Nick Poulos who will join the Australian Rugby Sevens in the lead-up to the 2016 Olympic Games.
Burton played 177 games for the Crows, establishing himself as a household name for his high-flying acrobatics.
He headed up the Brisbane Lions' fitness department from the end of 2010 to the end of this season.
Adelaide re-signed ruck coach Matthew Clarke for two years, while SANFL coach Heath Younie has been promoted to development manager – he'll continue coaching the SANFL side as well.
"Darren (Milburn) has played a crucial role in fostering our current crop of defenders," head of football David Noble said.
"There is no doubt Daniel Talia, Kyle Hartigan, Jake Lever and Jake Kelly among others have benefited from his knowledge and advice."
Adelaide's SANFL skipper and reigning best and fairest Ian Callinan will return to Tasmania.
