FORMER Essendon sports scientist Stephen Dank will face the AFL’s Anti-Doping Tribunal on the new appeal hearing date of June 9.
The Tribunal has moved the hearing from May 5 due to the availability of lawyers for Dank and the Australian Sport Anti-Doping Authority, now allowing three days from June 9-12.
Dank is appealing against 10 charges laid by the Anti-Doping Tribunal of trafficking or attempting to traffic banned substances.
Last month, 24 other charges against Dank of doping Essendon players were dismissed.
In March, the Anti-Doping Tribunal cleared 34 past and present Bombers players of taking a banned substance.
ASADA chose not to appeal that decision, but the World Anti-Doping Agency could take its own appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
