CARLTON’S fortunes have sunk so low, even its hovercraft is having trouble staying afloat.
A day after the upset loss to the previously winless Brisbane Lions, the hovercraft used in the club's pre-game entertainment this season flipped over on the Yarra River.

It had to be dragged to the shore and a member of the public sent a photo of the salvage operation to a Melbourne radio station.

The hovercraft is emblazoned with the famous Carlton club crest.
High winds apparently caused the vehicle to flip over and it is understood there was no damage.
