GREATER Western Sydney co-captain Phil Davis and rising Eagle midfielder Elliot Yeo have both accepted one-match bans offered by the Match Review Panel
Davis was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Adelaide's Luke Brown in the Giants' win last Saturday.
The MRP viewed the incident as careless conduct with medium impact to the head, an early plea reducing the two-game ban to just the one match, meaning Davis will miss the Giants' clash with the Western Bulldogs this Saturday
Yeo's strike on St Kilda's Jimmy Webster was viewed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head, which also led to a two-match sanction reduced to one with an early guilty plea, which will see him unavailable for Sunday's clash with Geelong at Domain Stadium.
Eagles coach Adam Simpson told 6PR on Monday night he would be keen to take Yeo's case to the Tribunal, however he said the decision was not in his hands. The club subsequently decided not to roll the dice and risk losing the in-form youngster for any longer than necessary.
"I think with coaches and football departments, if you left it up to the coaches every time there would be a lot of appeals going on," Simpson said.
Western Bulldog Brett Goodes also accepted a one-match ban for engaging in rough play with Melbourne's Matt Jones.
Davis' GWS teammate, star forward Jeremy Cameron, accepted a $1000 fine after his bump on Crows defender Kyle Cheney.
The front-on nature of the contact saw the MRP judge his actions as careless, seeing it classified as a $1500 fine, reduced with an early plea.

Veteran Hawthorn midfielder Sam Mitchell and North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein have both been charged with striking incidents, but will be free to play this weekend after $1000 sanctions.
Joe Daniher's six-goal haul in Essendon's win over the Brisbane Lions has been slightly soured by another fine for striking. Daniher was booked for his late spoil on Brisbane Lion Allen Christensen on Sunday, and given it is his second offence of the season, he chose to accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.
Richmond defender Dylan Grimes was also put in the spotlight by the MRP, charging him for misconduct after making contact with an injured player. His shove on Port Adelaide's Jackson Trengove will cost him $1000.
Swan Lewis Jetta accepted a $1500 fine while teammate Kieren Jack, and Hawthorn pair Jordan Lewis and Liam Shiels paid $1000 each for engaging in a melee in Saturday night's tight contest at the MCG.
