PORT Adelaide has delisted former top-10 draft pick Andrew Moore in its first cut of the playing list since the NAB AFL Trade Period.
Moore failed to find a new home during the player exchange period and has been moved on after 55 games in six seasons at Alberton.
Reports suggest Richmond could swoop on the 24-year-old inside midfielder, who only managed five games this season but was named in the best in eight of his 13 SANFL appearances.
Moore was suspended for three matches in April after he was found guilty of intentionally making contact with an umpire in the SANFL. Port Adelaide appealed the ban but the appeal was thrown out.
Moore was considered a chance to replace the injured Ollie Wines for the round four clash against Hawthorn if the suspension was overruled.
"I’ve loved my time at Port Adelaide," said Moore, the ninth pick in the 2009 draft.
"I appreciate the club giving me an opportunity to play AFL footy.
"I’ve made some great friends for life at the club and I wish the boys every success into the future."
The Power are set to announce more list changes before the October 30 deadline.
