Six things we learned from round 11
• Who fired or flopped for your team in this weekend's state leagues?

WELL, that's one out of three byes out of the way, and what a rollercoaster it was! Obviously not all players got the memo about lifting in order to cover the zeroes because there were under-performers everywhere. To top it off, some untimely subs vests rubbed salt into a few wounds. Thankfully there were a number of players who recognised the situation and lifted, with 27 players scoring 110 points or better.

Fantasy Pig

Brent Stanton's name has been bandied around for years in terms of his Pig eligibility, but unfortunately his inconsistency always gets in the way. Once again he has thrown his name in the mix with a massive performance against the Eagles where he had 31 touches, 11 marks and nine tackles for a round high 153. He deserves extra props for the great timing!

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

Unfortunately it's not the first time former premium Michael Barlow has been nominated for a Presti this year but he has left me no choice after scoring just 54 from 14 possessions against the Suns … yes, against the Suns, who have been giving up huge points to opposition midfielders. With the Fremantle bye coming this week, trade him to a player coming off the round 11 bye.

Piglet

Backing up from last week's 83, Elliott Kavanagh had a solid 66 from 14 touches and an impressive six tackles, all but cementing himself in the team for the time being. With slim pickings in the downgrade market, he could be a handy selection in round 13 following his bye.

He did a great job! Saved from a complete green vest disaster.

Hope you got there mate … #ouch

Lots of coaches didn't reach 18 players, Cotch, you just need to hang in there and hopefully you make up some ground over the next two bye rounds.
