APPLICATIONS for the 2016 Youth Central-AFL Media Rookie Reporter Program are open.
Now in its fourth year, the program sees aspiring young journalists working with AFL Media's reporters, editors and video producers for the duration of the AFL season.
Their work will appear on AFL.com.au, the AFL Live Official App and the AFL Record.
Interns will also make invaluable contacts in the footy industry while tapping into the knowledge of AFL Media's social media team, photographers, video editors and other media professionals.
All nine of our past graduates are now working in media, with five having found employment with AFL Media.
For your chance to be one of the 2016 Rookie Reporters, fill in the online application form and complete the prescribed written task before January 3, 2016.
If you have made the shortlist for the program you will be notified by the end of January next year.
