FREMANTLE'S Michael Barlow, Paul Duffield and Danyle Pearce appear set to play round one against Port Adelaide after all three got through a full game for Peel Thunder on Saturday.
But Colin Sylvia's hopes of returning to the Fremantle fold have taken a hit after he was a late withdrawal pre-game due to a minor calf strain.
Sylvia played in both of Peel's pre-season matches but Peel had a bye last week. He will need to string at least four consistent performances together before being considered for a return to the Fremantle set-up after he was sent away from the club on February 5 for "not meeting the physical requirements for AFL football".
The Dockers had 15 listed players representing Peel Thunder at HBF Arena in Joondalup on Saturday. Fremantle coach Ross Lyon kept a close eye on proceedings from the outer as West Perth beat Peel by seven points, 13.6 (84) to 11.11 (77).
Barlow and Duffield were playing their first games since sustaining injuries against Melbourne in the Dockers' first NAB Challenge match on March 5.

Barlow looked to be moving well coming back from his ankle injury. He gathered 23 disposals across four full quarters running through the midfield.
Duffield returned from a rib injury and played across half-back throughout the afternoon. He was involved in a number of physical confrontations and appeared to get through them without trouble. He finished with 17 possessions and laid six tackles.
Pearce was also playing just his second match of the year. He missed the Dockers' first two NAB Challenge matches with a calf issue before returning to play against West Coast last week.
The experienced wingman gathered 22 touches, delivered seven inside 50s and kicked two goals.
Pearce said after the match that he was pleased to get through despite a couple of knocks and confirmed he would be ready to face Port Adelaide in round one.
"It was a good hit-out," Pearce said.
"Unfortunately didn't come away with the result, which is disappointing.
"Glad to get through though and looking forward to next week.
"(I'm) a little sore. I got a couple of little knocks here and there but I'll be good."
Connor Blakely put his hand up for a round one AFL debut after gathering 30 disposals for Peel and was very impressive throughout.
Fellow Fremantle draftee Lachie Weller had a good first half and finished with 24 touches while Max Duffy kicked two goals and was lively up forward. Jon Griffin had 53 hit-outs in the ruck for Peel.
Young power forward Michael Apeness was reasonably well held up forward going goalless from 14 possessions but he still managed 24 hit-outs at the stoppages.
The Dockers face Port Adelaide in round one at Domain Stadium on Easter Sunday.
Meanwhile, West Coast rookie Murray Newman was a casualty of East Perth's 13-point win over Swan Districts on Saturday, injuring his left ankle in the first half.
Josh Hill stood out with three goals while Eagles utility Brant Colledge collected 30 disposals and kicked one goal.
West Coast father-son recruit Alec Waterman impressed with 26 disposals and two goals while first-round draft selection Liam Duggan (22 disposals, two goals) was another of his team's best.
Former Blue Kane Lucas had 24 touches while Jamie Bennell (18), Simon Turnbridge (13) and Malcolm Karpany (13) also had a run and Fraser McInnes racked up 20-hit-outs.
The Eagles start their season next Saturday against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.
