PAUL Little has reaffirmed his commitment to remain as Essendon chairman until the final stage of the WADA appeal, which is expected to finish in 2016.
Little's pledge comes on the day the Bombers accepted James Hird's immediate resignation as coach.
Little has made clear his desire to see through first the ASADA investigation and then the WADA appeal before stepping down from his position.
He will play a key role in overseeing the changes out of Essendon's ongoing review, which will now include the search for a senior coach.
