GOLD Coast has delisted three players, including ruckman Daniel Gorringe.
The 23-year-old played 22 games but only managed two this season after being drafted at No.10 in the 2010 NAB AFL Draft.
Gorringe struggled to make the senior team after falling behind fellow big men Tom Nicholls and Zac Smith in the pecking order.
Port Adelaide was interested in picking up the 200cm mobile big man last year but a trade wasn’t able to be completed after the Power gave up picks No.17 and 37 to acquire Paddy Ryder from Essendon.
Gorringe was named in the best players three times in 15 games in the NEAFL this year.
Gorringe joins Danny Stanley and rookie Josh Glenn as delistings announced on Thursday, although the Suns have committed to re-drafting Stanley in the rookie draft with their last selection.
Glenn recently told the club he didn’t want to play on next year.
The Suns have now delisted seven players ahead of tomorrow’s first list lodgement.
