The No.2 pick from the 2014 NAB AFL Draft was the dominant player during the hour-long scratch match, winning a ton of possessions on the wing and through the middle.

His power in the air and ability to break the game open with quick play-ons were on full display, suggesting it won't be long until he's strutting his stuff for the Demons on the MCG.

Angus Brayshaw displayed his class and toughness in the clinches and looks a big chance of reclaiming his spot in the Demons' 22 against Essendon next Saturday after overcoming a knee complaint.

Heritier Lumumba, who had surgery on both of his ankles in the off-season, also threw his name up for selection by winning a stack of the ball in defence.

Luckless forward Jack Trengove got through the game unscathed and appears on track to resurrect his stalled career.
