GOLD Coast has yet another injury, with young midfielder Darcy MacPherson suffering a suspected medial ligament strain in Saturday's match against Adelaide at Metricon Stadium.
The 18-year-old was carried off in the second quarter and did not return.
It adds to a crippling toll for the Suns, who had 18 players on their official injury list entering the game, including skipper Gary Ablett, Rory Thompson, Aaron Hall and Touk Miller.
MacPherson was playing just his third career game after being upgraded from the club's rookie list.
The Suns confirmed the youngster will undergo scans early next week and the club will provide a further update once the full extent of the injury has been determined.
Gold Coast also lost their top draft pick from last year, Callum Ah Chee, who suffered a head knock in the third quarter and took no further part in the game after being confirmed with concussion.
