FREMANTLE remains hopeful of keeping Hayden Ballantyne next season, with rival clubs yet to reveal any interest in the fiery small forward.
Meanwhile, the Dockers expect to re-sign ruckman Zac Clarke, but Michael Barlow and Alex Silvagni's futures might not be decided until after the NAB AFL Trade Period.
Ballantyne is contracted for 2017, but with the Dockers turning over their list the goalsneak has looked at joining a rival club in flag contention.
The 29-year-old ideally wants to stay in Western Australia, however with crosstown rivals West Coast prioritising their search for ruckmen, Ballantyne could be set to continue his 141-game, 221-goal career at Freo.
• Indicative draft order: What picks will your club take to the draft?
"To this point we haven't had any club come to us wanting to trade for Hayden and Hayden's someone we'd like to retain," Dockers list manager Brad Lloyd told 6PR.
"He's been a really good player for us for many years and we'd like to see him playing at the club next year.
"No club has contacted me directly about trading for Hayden Ballantyne."
Clarke, 26, is an unrestricted free agent and the 203cm big man is reportedly seeking a multi-year contract extension to stay at the port club.
"We're working through some contract negotiations at the moment with Jason Dover, Zac's manager, so we'd like to retain Zac and hope that we get that sorted reasonably quickly," Lloyd said.
Barlow has been linked with Gold Coast and, after being dropped to the WAFL last season, could find a new home before the NAB AFL Trade Period deadline on Thursday.
Meanwhile, uncontracted backman Alex Silvagni's future is clouded after Western Bulldogs premiership defender Joel Hamling chose to seek a trade to the Dockers.
"We're doing a fairly large overhaul of our playing list from a numbers point of view and we wouldn't be able to give (Barlow and Silvagni) an indication until after the trade period, so that hasn't changed to this point," Lloyd said.
With Freo already adding forward Cam McCarthy (GWS), speedster Bradley Hill (Hawthorn) and hoping to secure goalkicker Shane Kersten (Geelong) and Hamling, the Dockers are set to fill several needs before next month's NAB AFL Draft.
"That gives us the flexibility to go to (the draft with) pick seven and really have a good look at the pool and not be too caught up in shapes and sizes," Lloyd said.
"We can start getting back to making sure we get a really good, high-quality player in at pick seven."
