Karl Amon - 6
Played a really strong third term across wing and half forward as Port fought back. Strong overall performance in first final.
Travis Boak - 6
Took a while to work his way into the game but became important with his courage and cool head. Will rue a difficult missed goal in extra time which would have sealed it.
Riley Bonner - 5
Very reasonable in one-on-one contests often opposed to Jamie Cripps down back. Produced a couple of thrilling dashes which justified his selection.
Darcy Byrne-Jones - 7
Kept the dangerous Mark LeCras under control and was one of the more poised Port defenders under pressure. Strong effort.
Tom Clurey - 7
Kept two-time Coleman medallist Josh Kennedy under control for four quarters and would be shattered Kennedy kicked two extra-time majors. Gallant performance.
Charlie Dixon - 8
One of the main reasons Port was in this match at half-time. He gave Eric Mackenzie headaches all night. His accuracy, in front of goal proved Port's downfall, finishing with 3.6. Missed two kickable majors in extra time.
The Power's intensity is rising! Dixon's kicked all of Port's goals. #AFLPowerEagles #AFLFinals pic.twitter.com/MB4HNB9iCo

Five things we learned from Port Adelaide v West Coast
Brad Ebert – 6
Made a horrible kicking error in the first term that resulted in a Drew Petrie goal. Redeemed himself with some good grunt work in tight and a great second term goal.
Robbie Gray - 8
Typically brilliant around stoppages and found plenty of the ball. HIs dynamic work in congestion looked like it would be a factor in a Port win for much of extra time.
Sheppard went to ground at the crucial moment and Gray made him pay! #AFLPowerEagles #AFLFinals pic.twitter.com/AiKrKPVrN4

Sam Gray - 5
Worked extremely hard. Kicked a second term major and an extra time goal.
Hamish Hartlett - 7
Played a really solid match down back and overcame a heavy knock from Drew Petrie during extra time.
Dan Houston - 5
Really solid first final in defence. Pushed up and drove Port into attack on several occasions.
Dougal Howard - 5
Jack Darling got hold of him early and he was found wanting in his first final. Response was admirable.
Jarman Impey - 4
Was brought into the side to have an impact and could have had a major say in this match but didn't nail his moments. Dropped an easy uncontested mark during the third term and was fumbly throughout.
Todd Marshall - 3
Wasn't able to have much of an impact as Port's second tall forward.
Jake Neade - 5
Two very poor disposal errors in the first term cost Port goals in a low-scoring final. Worked very hard after that and had some good moments in the front half of the ground.
Jasper Pittard - 5
Kept Luke Partington under control but didn't have his usual possession numbers. Appeared to be tight in the hamstrings and got a lot of work done on them.
Jared Polec - 6
Will have nightmares all summer about that tackle on Luke Shuey. His night will be remembered for that but he was pretty good on his wing.
Sam Powell-Pepper - 6
Seems built for finals football and he had a super first half but tired. Needs a big pre-season.

Paddy Ryder - 4
Would have been very disappointed in his first three-quarters. Became important in the final quarter and extra time but will want to forget his spoiling attempt on Drew Petrie 16 minutes into the last term.
Justin Westhoff - 7
Port could have been further behind in the opening term but for his work as a loose defender. Played various roles after that and was generally solid.
Chad Wingard - 6
A solid game for the Power midfielder/forward, with 24 possessions, including 10 contested. Bobbed up for a goal, but also kicked a couple of behinds on an inaccurate night for the Power.
Wingard's kick and McGovern's smother was sent for a goal review and the Power were paid the goal. #AFLPowerEagles pic.twitter.com/18SpEJqgZL

Ollie Wines - 8
Very close to his side's best after quarter-time. Grunt work was huge and kicked the last quarter goal Port needed when he burst clear of a stoppage eight minutes in.
Ollie Wines kicks an absolute corker in the first stanza of extra time. #AFLPowerEagles pic.twitter.com/HyhQfm7FwY
