AS WE get another week closer to Fantasy finals, the big boys are certainly hitting their straps with seven players scoring over 130, ensuring many coaches produced thumping scores for the second week running. The Fantasy Gods still found time to have a good laugh though, with one of the week's most traded out players Robbie Gray pumping out 113 to rub salt into the trade wound.
Fantasy Pig
Tom Mitchell Ctrl C, Ctrl V. Yes, no surprises here, the Pig was at it again on Sunday against the Blues and once again demands to be the first player covered. He showed once again why he is a class above the rest with a massive 187 from 46 possessions, nine marks, nine tackles and two goals. In true Pig fashion, he worked hard right until the final siren with a late tackle which earned a holding the ball decision that he followed up with a goal.
Honourable mention: Alex Witherden has really hit his straps in recent weeks and the young Lion is knocking hard on the door of the rolling 22 as a top-six defender. He was sensational against the Crows with 31 touches and a whopping 12 marks for a score of 138. He is certainly a viable and unique option to bring in for a finals run.
FROM THE TWOS Who put their hand up in the second tier?
Rage trades
Isaac Heeney has been a mark of consistency this year and that is one of the reasons he was such a popular trade target this week. The other big reason was the foreseen instant reward with a match-up against the Suns, who are by far the easiest team to score against. Unfortunately, it was a lacklustre performance with 20 possessions, two marks and two tackles for a disappointing 65.
Honourable mention: Michael Hurley has also been in good form, racking up double-figure marks at will over the last month. Coupled with the fact the Dockers give up the third-most points to defenders, the writing was on the wall that Hurley was in for a big one. Unfortunately, he took just four marks and collected 17 possessions for 61.
THINGS WE LEARNED It's decision time for Suns
Piglet
Jarrod Lienert had a great debut for the Power. The mature-ager had 20 possessions at 90 per cent efficiency while also taking five marks and two tackles. He did his job security no harm with that performance and he would be a handy downgrade/emergency.

@RoyDT Rocky working his way back into form for finals... Aspiring to get into you're rolling 22 is clearly motivating him :-)

Yeah, no doubt about the Pig and yes, he is currently the sixth forward in the rolling 22.

He certainly knew what his coaches needed! Swanny would have been proud of that effort at the end.
I'm 274 points off 100th... hopes starting to fade.

We can only hope they continue to fade.
