EXCITING Gold Coast half-forward Jack Martin will make his long-awaited return against West Coast on Saturday night.
Martin has not played since injuring his hamstring in the first minute of the Suns' round nine match against Hawthorn.
He was subsequently suspended for one match by the club after failing its alcohol policy for an incident involving full forward Charlie Dixon.
Martin returned in the NEAFL two weeks ago where he gathered 16 disposals to prove his fitness.
He then served his suspension last week as the Suns travelled to Adelaide and lost by 45 points to the Crows.
The gifted 20-year-old has played just six games this year, and 17 overall in his injury-interrupted two seasons.
The Suns should be further bolstered against the red-hot Eagles with the expected return of ruckman Tom Nicholls and dashing defender Adam Saad.
Nicholls missed last week's match with a quad niggle, while Saad has missed the past three weeks with groin trouble.
Gold Coast holds its main training session on Thursday morning, and the pair will need to only complete that to confirm their selection.
