WELL there you have it, we made it to the byes! Now the real fun begins. Over the next three weeks we get three trades per week and our best 18 scores will count each round. Our aim over this time should be to field a minimum of 18 players each week (easier said than done with injuries starting to mount up) and to complete the byes with a better team than we started.
Fantasy Pig
Stephen Coniglio came off a lean month in which he was hampered by injury to go absolutely ballistic against the Suns. The hard working Giant had a field day collecting 36 possessions, taking five marks, laying eight tackles and kicking a lazy three goals for a season high 192. He is certainly one to keep an eye on as an under-priced premium.
Honourable mention: It was no coincidence that Coniglio's teammate Josh Kelly also did what he wanted against the Suns in Sydney, collecting the ball at will for 36 possessions, seven marks, five tackles and a goal to continues his unbeaten streak of triple figure games this year by scoring 140. He is certainly in the elite category and needs to be a high priority trade target for any coaches that don't own him.
NINE THINGS WE LEARNED Tipping point looms for Blues
Rage Trades
Patrick Cripps: It's beyond a joke now, Cripps' lack of support through the midfield has completely cooked him, reaching his threshold of being able to carry a team on his back. The writing has been on the wall the last couple of weeks and the previously 'untaggable' bull is all of a sudden very vulnerable. He was completely smashed by Dylan Clarke, managing just two kicks in his 11 possessions for 63. If a trade out helps your bye structure, do it.
Honourable mention: Adam Treloar is one of the most highly-regarded premium midfielders in the competition. The hard running ball magnet is never far from the action but unfortunately that wasn't the case against the Dockers. After a solid first half highlighted by a 44-point second quarter, he was unrecognisable in the second half recording a total of 18 points which included just three in the last. He is a champion and will bounce back, so make sure you reverse your rage trade.
Piglet
Dlyan Clarke will be the No.1 downgrade target over the next couple of weeks and it will be an interesting play this week given he has the round 12 bye. Not only did he manage to lock down Cripps, he had a day out himself with 23 possessions and 10 tackles to ensure he has no job security issues. We have been waiting for him to be given a decent run for a long time now and with the injuries mounting up at the Dons, he needs to be selected.

Who goes 1st. Macrae, Billings, Heeney or Brayshaw?
— Anthony Ellul (@anthonyellul) June 2, 2019
Brayshaw has to go but given Macrae has his bye this week, it is a great opportunity to offload him.
bring in cogs for macrae?
— . (@Starky354) June 2, 2019
Yeah for sure, do it and enjoy.
Should we ride it out with fallen premiums like Cripps, Macrae, Brayshaw or use the byes to try and cut our losses?
— Anthony (@toanmcnugget) June 2, 2019
I am really trying to be strong and upgrade around those types but having said that, their bye is a great opportunity to part ways.
Should we hang onto duurs through his bye, back to back 90s and still rising in price.
— Jason Reynolds (@JasonRe10876650) June 2, 2019
Yeah for sure! Not only is he rising in value, he is consistently outscoring a number of defender premiums.

Yep, you pretty much nailed every under performer. So unlucky… But how good is Crouch?
Should I double downgrade not playing rookies and double upgrade next week?
— Matthew Peart (@matthew_r_peart) June 2, 2019
Yes mate, you could justifiably triple downgrade if your bye structure allows it.
Sloane to Cogs?
— Dan from Tas (@DanielLittler) June 2, 2019
Lock it.
Worth bringing in Boak this week, even though the bye is next week? I have 19 on field next week. Gives me a bit of wriggle room next week. Thanks Legend.
— Scott Jones (@Scott2803) June 2, 2019
Can be done, I’ve seen it work before and like you said, it can fix bye structure. I just can’t bring myself to do it with premiums.
D.Martin, J.Zieball or J.Dunkly?
— benjaminkinley (@Kinley_surprise) June 2, 2019
Dunks all the way for me.
Is it cool to have cogs kelly taranto and whitfield in ya team
— Jared Daehn (@jezmonaut) June 2, 2019
