THE STARS stepped up in the first of the dreaded bye rounds with seven players scoring 140 or more. Moving forward we need to be targeting premium players coming off their bye and trading out our fattened cash cows like Noah Balta to get to them.

Fantasy Pig
Patrick Dangerfield looked to be well and truly over his recent injury woes with a dominant performance against the Tigers. He had 38 disposals, seven marks, nine tackles and a goal to be the round's highest scorer with 162. He has the bye this week and non-owners need to make him a high-priority trade target the following week.
Honourable mention: Patrick Cripps rewarded his faithful owners who were well within their rights to trade him after a very lean month by his standards. In what was one of the most dominant performances by an individual in recent times, he looked bigger, stronger and faster than everyone on his way to 151. He resembled a high school kid playing Sunday morning Auskick while collecting 38 possessions, seven marks and four goals. He will be a great under-priced premium to target after his bye.
THINGS WE LEARNED Tigers won't win the flag
Rage Trades
Brodie Smith: Has proven to be a reliable scorer across half-back this year and the Giants recognised him as a threat and completely shut him out of the game. He only managed a disappointing 38 from 12 possessions and three marks and is certainly in the trade barrel for a topline premium like Jake Lloyd.
Honourable mention: Jack Crisp has been in great form, consistently scoring around the 100 mark which made him spike significantly in ownership. Unfortunately, the inconsistency that has historically stopped him from being in the elite premium category was on display against the Demons where he managed just 68 from 19 touches.
Piglet
Patrick Naish was outstanding on debut for the Tigers and will certainly be on many coach's radar despite having the round 14 bye pending. He scored 79 points and has a breakeven of negative eight.

I would prefer you hold Neale and upgrade trade around him to leave your team in a stronger position after the byes.
@WarnieDT @RoyDT @CalvinDT 2103 for a best of 18 gotta be happy with that, what was about par for this week?
— Rob Rea (@RobRea10) June 10, 2019
Nice work, I would say par was upward of 1950.
