COLLINGWOOD captain Scott Pendlebury had surgery on Saturday for a finger injury suffered in Friday night's momentous comeback win over West Coast at Optus Stadium.
It is unclear at this stage how long the 31-year-old will be out for.

Pendlebury hurt the middle finger on his left hand during the Eagles clash but played on and put together a huge final term to help the Pies snap a two-game losing skid over the reigning premier.
The silky onballer is averaging 28 disposals and was ranked No.4 in the competition for inside-50s per game as of Sunday.
He is in contention for a spot in the Virgin Australia AFL All Australian side, an accolade he was awarded for five years straight between 2010-14.
