BRISBANE will hold the first pick of the second night of the NAB AFL Draft after doing a trade with Port Adelaide.

The Lions were set to start the night at pick No.23, one spot behind the Power at No.22.

But in the pre-draft two-hour trade period between clubs, AFL.com.au can reveal the Lions have moved up one spot to No.22, swapping picks with the Power.

The Power have shifted back to No.23, but also gained a future second-round pick (tied to Collingwood) to make the move. Port Adelaide gave away a future fourth-round pick (tied to GWS) to the Lions to complete the deal.

Harry Schoenberg has been linked to Brisbane's selection, with Adelaide also vying for the midfielder. The Crows were understood to be in discussions with Port Adelaide for the top selection of the second round as well.

Deven Robertson is another midfielder of interest to both the Lions and Crows, with the West Australian prospect likely to be snapped up in the opening handful of selections on Thursday.

The move back would still allow the Power to take forward Dylan Williams, who shapes as a key contender for the selection early in the second round.

Another trade was also completed on Thursday ahead of the draft, with Port Adelaide trading pick No.61 for Sydney's picks 65 and 68.
