LAST year's bolter Brisbane will head into the 2020 season with a whopping nine-man leadership group.
Dayne Zorko will again lead the Lions after he was voted in by his teammates for a second consecutive season.
Harris Andrews is the vice-captain, while Darcy Gardiner, Stefan Martin, Lachie Neale, Ryan Lester and Jarrod Berry have again been elected into the leadership group.
Midfielders Jarryd Lyons (the former Crow and Sun) and emerging star Hugh McCluggage are the new additions.
Allen Christensen decided to step down from his position in order to focus on his rehabilitation from minor back surgery.
This is the first time both Lyons and McCluggage have been part of an AFL leadership group.
Lyons had a breakout year in 2019, after arriving at the club in late 2018 as a delisted free agent. He averaged 24 disposals and six tackles per game and finished fourth overall in the 2019 club champion votes.
"I've been working on my leadership skills over the last couple of years, so it's great to have that recognition and trust from the group,' Lyons said.
In 2020 McCluggage will enter his fourth season at the Lions after arriving at the club with pick No.3 at the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.
