The Northerners is North Melbourne’s Football Club’s longest established coterie and aims to provide support to the club including networking opportunities for members, players and club staff.

Northerners’ President, Caroline Carnegie, said the coterie is well placed to offer a range of experiences to members. “This year we have the biggest range of packages available that we have ever been able to offer with the flexibility to tailor a package to suit individual needs.”

“The Northerners’ experience includes significant match day entertainment including player appearances and interviews, club officials and a range of other interesting guests that add their touch of colour to the day. This year that guest list includes Deputy Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, Victoria Police Chief Commissioner, Christine Nixon, renowned comedian Yianni, and Herald Sun football reporter Damian Barrett. James Brayshaw and Eugene Arocca will also take the stage to update members on club issues. All the match day events are professionally hosted by Peter Cocks, better known as 3AW’s Personality Pete.”

The Northerners recently announced a significant coup with the Shinboner of the Century agreeing to take on the role of Northerners’ Patron. “We are very excited to have Glenn Archer as our first patron and I am sure members and guests will look forward to meeting Glenn at functions. Glenn is admired by all our members and is a welcome addition to the Northerners’ Coterie.”
