Crows skipper continues pre-season dominance in five-minute run
ADELAIDE skipper Nathan van Berlo has continued his pre-season dominance at West Lakes, winning the club's five-minute run on Monday.
The club's speedsters were also prominent in the run (where players cover as much distance as possible in five minutes) with superstar midfielder Patrick Dangerfield (second) and David Mackay (third) hot on van Berlo's heels.
Recovering knee victims Taylor Walker, Jared Petrenko and Ricky Henderson did not do the run.
Tom Lynch (foot) kicked the football with his injured teammates while Brent Reilly (shoulder) completed non-contact drills.
Ruckman Sam Jacobs said the playing group was focused on getting as much as possible out of every pre-season training session.
"Beforetraining Sando said, ‘We've had our time away, but let's not forget thethings we spoke about in the review at the end of the season' ...That's making sure we're training with purpose and that everyone isimproving in the areas we identified," he said.
"We had a pretty hard review of everyone and we're looking forward to having another good, hard pre-season.
"You'llsee some slimmer boys getting around come game time because that's theway the game is going now ... we've got to make sure we're running outgames well."
