MATT Priddis has built his name as a contested ball king. And in a year in which his form looks at least equal to what he produced to win the 2014 Brownlow Medal, the blonde Eagle is chasing down a serious record.
Priddis has racked up 10 or more contested possessions in 30 straight games, and if he can keep this going until the end of this season, he'll match or better current record-holder Patrick Dangerfield.
Dangerfield remains an elite ball-winner and brought up the record contested possession streak with brilliant performances from the start of 2012 until deep into the 2013 season.
The Crows and Eagles face each other in round 15, and it'll be a treat for the purists that evening when Priddis and Dangerfield set their sights on first possession from the clearances.
Check out who else is challenging history this weekend.
