DARCY Moore and Travis Varcoe have both spent the night in Melbourne's Epworth hospital, but are expected to be released on Monday.
The Collingwood players were taken to hospital after being knocked out in separate incidents during the Magpies' epic victory over West Coast.
Moore was kept under observation overnight, with medicos concerned about his neck as a result of the knee he copped early in the second quarter.
Varcoe suffered a sickening concussion after flying for a spoil. The club confirmed he also suffered a dislocated elbow.
Magpies coach Nathan Buckley painted a bleak picture of Varcoe's injury, and could not shed any light on Moore's injury scare.
"(Varcoe) is going to be banged up big time and the early prognosis is we may not see him for the rest of the year," Buckley said post-match.
"Darcy has injured his neck in some shape or form.
"We're not exactly sure. We don't think it is serious but there were definitely precautions taken to not put him out on the field because he had a significant blow to it."

Greater Western Sydney midfielder Dylan Shiel injured his right shoulder in the final quarter against Richmond which forced him out of the game.
The 24-year-old slipped on the wet MCG following a boundary throw-in and landed on his already strapped upper arm.

"It didn't look all that great, but his shoulder has been a little bit of an issue for a little while," Giants coach Leon Cameron said post-match.
"Sometimes it does (pop in and out). It's got a lot better. He's had that for three or four years, he's had a couple of shoulder operations so he learns to push through that each game."
Shiel had earlier come off for a separate niggle he picked up early in the second term when he received an inadvertent boot to his right knee from teammate Shane Mumford.

St Kilda veteran Leigh Montagna faces an uncertain future after suffering a potentially serious right hamstring injury against Sydney.
The 33-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the season, was forced off in the third quarter when he turned to evade a tackle by Swans big man Sam Naismith.
Montagna went to ground clutching his leg as Naismith put pressure on him, before limping off the ground.
He donned a tracksuit jacket almost immediately and had ice strapped around his leg.
The true extent of the injury will be known following scans.

Port Adelaide's unblemished injury run has come to an end after star midfielder-forward Chad Wingard sprained his left ankle against Melbourne, placing him in doubt for Saturday's clash with St Kilda.
The 23-year-old rolled his ankle outwards in the third quarter when Demons defender Sam Frost fell across his leg as he tried to smother the Power star's shot at goal.
Wingard walked off the ground slowly in the hands of trainers for assessment on the bench.
He started the final term on the ground – and tested his ankle by flying for a mark – but his afternoon ended just a few minutes later after being unable to move freely, spending the rest of the game on the bench with ice applied to the injury.
The Power had a full-strength squad to choose from for their match against the Demons, with only young forward Dougal Howard unavailable due to a SANFL suspension.

Western Bulldogs veteran defender Dale Morris suffered a broken right forearm during the second quarter against Gold Coast that will put an end to his injury-ravaged season.
Morris landed awkwardly in a marking contest involving Suns co-captain Tom Lynch and immediately grabbed his arm.
The 34-year-old was accompanied straight to the rooms, with club doctor Gary Zimmerman supporting the premiership backman's arm.
Morris, whose contract expires at season's end, was sidelined for seven weeks with a broken right leg he suffered in round one against Collingwood and also missed round 12 against Sydney due to an ankle issue.

Fremantle star Michael Walters looks set to miss the rest of the season after injuring the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee against Hawthorn.
The 26-year-old pulled up suddenly as he led towards the ball on the wing early in the final term and hobbled off the ground.
Walters had his knee heavily strapped with ice after having it assessed, and will have scans to reveal the extent of the damage.

Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch played the final quarter against Geelong with a fractured right cheekbone.
The 23-year-old sustained the injury in the closing minute of the third term when he was met by Cats captain Joel Selwood in a contest on the wing, before clashing heads with Jed Bews.
Crouch was examined by the club doctor at three-quarter time but played through the pain barrier.
Geelong tall Mark Blicavs left the ground midway through the third quarter against Adelaide with a right ankle injury.
The 26-year-old laid a shepherd for skipper Selwood following a centre bounce, only for his foot to get caught under Rory Sloane as he was brought to ground by the star Crow.
Blicavs limped off for assessment and was on crutches after the game-ending injury.

In other injury concerns in round 18:
- Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn spent a large part of the third term off the field with a rolled ankle. The 25-year-old, who entered the game with his right knee and right calf strapped, started the second half on the ground but left the field for treatment three minutes in. Gawn returned later in the term and finished the game. "He'll be fine. Obviously we'll see how he pulls up," Demons coach Simon Goodwin post-match.
- Sydney defender Nic Newman dislocated his left pinky during the last quarter against St Kilda. The 24-year-old had his finger popped back into place and returned with it taped to his ring finger.

- North Melbourne defender Robbie Tarrant was a late out against Essendon after experiencing back spasms before the game, but will be available next week.
