FORGOTTEN North Melbourne forward Aaron Black is "happy to go anywhere" as he explores his trade options.
Black, 25, is contracted at the Kangaroos until the end of 2017 after he signed an extension at the end of 2013.
He put pen to paper after booting 33 goals from 18 games. He followed that effort up with 26 goals in 2014, as North made the preliminary final.
Black has played just three matches since, and none this season.
Fremantle has reportedly been interested in acquiring Black in the past, but his manager Jason Dover told News Corp the forward would take his opportunity at any club.
"We're in continual conversation with North … and come the trade period we'll explore what opportunities are out there for Aaron in a trade that might benefit both the club and Aaron," Dover said.
"It's not all about returning home."
While Black showed much promise earlier in his career, he has seen Ben Brown, Mason Wood and Majak Daw move ahead of him, while the Roos brought Jarrad Waite in at the end of 2014.
