SYDNEY superstar Lance Franklin faces a nervous wait before scans on a fresh hamstring injury sustained at training on Wednesday morning.
In a double blow after fellow tall Sam Reid's strained calf on Monday, Franklin will head for scans to determine the extent of his latest setback.

Franklin missed round one with a knee injury and was racing the clock to be fit to tackle Essendon in the Swans' restart on June 14.
It is understood Franklin injured his right hamstring on Wednesday, the opposite hamstring to the one that sidelined him for a large portion of 2019.
"Lance hadn't been participating in contact training this week as we have been gradually building his training load," Gardiner said.
"He was doing some routine running drills at Lakeside Oval this morning when he experienced pain in his hamstring, which is clearly a concern.
"We won't know the extent of the injury until we have the results of the scan, but it's a disappointing setback for Lance as he had been progressing well in his preparation for round two."
