Riley Knight | Achilles | 2-3 weeks |
Tyson Stengle | Suspension | 4 weeks |
Updated: Monday, June 8 |
Early prognosis
The Crows will enter round two with an almost full-strength squad available. Doedee will be back from his knee injury and will bolster their defence, with Knight the only player ruled out through injury as he battles the heel issue. The club-imposed suspension for Stengle will see him out of contention for the next month of games. - Callum Twomey

Stefan Martin | Knee | Available |
Cam Rayner | Knee | Test |
Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis

Caleb Marchbank | Knee | TBC |
Updated: Monday, June 8 |
Early prognosis
The Blues are holding out hope that Fisher (ankle) could be deemed fit to play, but it appears unlikely. There remain question marks over Marchbank (knee) and how long he will miss. Kreuzer (foot) could become available later in the season, but you can put a line through Curnow (knee) for this year. Nic Newman (elbow) should be fit. - Riley Beveridge

There are fears that Cox (knee) is running out of time to prove his fitness, but Greenwood (knee) is making good progress. Treloar (calf) is still a while away and will need to build match fitness before he plays, while Reid (calf) is set to miss a fair portion of footy having suffered yet another soft tissue setback. - Riley Beveridge

Early prognosis

Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis
The shutdown period has helped the likes of Blake Acres (hamstring), Stephen Hill (quad), Jesse Hogan (mental health), Nathan Wilson (toe) and David Mundy (leg) to all be available for round two. Pick No.9 Henry has recovered from his dislocated kneecap, but the club is keen to build mass in his quads over the next month before being considered for selection. - Chris Correia

Nakia Cockatoo | Hamstring | Indefinite |
Lachie Fogarty | Knee | Test |
Josh Jenkins | Back | 1-2 weeks |

Stefan Okunbor | Achilles | Indefinite |
Jack Steven | Stab wound | Test |
Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis
Steven only returned to full contact training this week, and although he's likely to be cleared to play, will need a miracle to be picked given the training he's missed. Kolodjashnij will need at least another week after returning to full training following pre-season hip surgery, while Jenkins suffered a back complaint in recent days. The Cats are again being cautious with Cockatoo, while Fogarty has re-joined the main group after a slight delay returning from the shutdown. In a pleasing sign, Okunbor has resumed running with hope he could become available later in the season. - Mitch Cleary

The Suns will have a much fitter list to choose from this week than in round one, with several experienced players to be available. Harbrow, Hanley and Sexton should be back after their early-season soft-tissue issues, while Thompson is set to play his first game since 2018 after missing all of last year with a knee reconstruction. - Callum Twomey

Jaeger O'Meara | Facial fracture | Test |
Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis
All eyes are on Hardwick, who ruptured a pectoral muscle in the pre-season, and O'Meara to see if medical staff will pass them fit to play on Friday night. Hardwick played in Friday's intraclub game but wore a blue cap indicating limited contact. Brownlow medallist Tom Mitchell had a blue cap on in match simulation, too. Both Impey and Howe are hoping to return at some stage in July. Will Day played in the intraclub contest after being on limited duties with foot soreness, while Jack Gunston, Michael Hartley, Conor Glass and Mathew Walker also took part. - Marc McGowan

Aaron Nietschke | Knee | Season |
Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis
All of the Demons' first-choice players are available, with a club spokesperson stating defender Jake Lever's absence from Saturday's intraclub game was just to manage his loads. Mitch Hannan (groin) came from the ground with some discomfort midway through the match but returned, while Aaron vandenBerg (foot) also played. Fitness boss Darren Burgess will make the final call on whether Harley Bennell (calf) is ready to make his senior return. Petty still has lingering issues with an ailment that's restricted him since the pre-season, while Kolodjashnij also isn't ready yet. Preuss' injury is a new setback after a knee problem sidelined him earlier in the season. Hore didn’t play in the Dees’ intraclub game on Saturday. - Marc McGowan

Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis
Larkey will sit out at least Sunday's Giants clash as part of the Roos' cautious approach to the 'hot spot' in his left foot. Daw, Vickers-Willis and Turner are still several weeks off but are progressing. Garner avoided surgery for his latest hamstring setback, meaning he could yet be a factor this season. Davies-Uniacke has no ongoing issues with his "pubic overload" problem after eight weeks of running, and is set to rejoin group training this week. Draftee Comben is on the comeback trail from a back stress fracture, with the Roos also sending him in for a knee arthroscopy during the lockdown. They are also taking a big-picture view with Perez after his ACL rupture 18 months ago. There is no update for Jacobs, who North is still exploring options for. - Marc McGowan

Scott Lycett | Hamstring | Test |

Dixon (adductor) is making good progress and should play, while Bonner (ankle) hurt himself in the club's return to training but should be fit to feature. Michael Knoll | Knee | 6-8 weeks |
Sam Naismith | Hamstring | Test |
Sam Reid | Calf | TBC |
Ben Ronke | Knee | Test |
Jackson Thurlow | Calf | 2 weeks |
Updated: Tuesday, June 9 |
Early prognosis
Franklin is the major concern here. Swans football boss Charlie Gardiner said the champion forward's setback was worse than last year's on his opposite leg, so he will likely be out for at least another two months. Reid may not be available until round six but Ronke is a chance to play after some bone bruising and cartilage damage. Hard-luck ruckman Naismith is in doubt for this week, while fellow big man Knoll will miss at least the next few weeks after suffering a PCL injury in an intraclub match last Friday.. Thurlow has recovered from ankle surgery but hurt a calf shortly after group training resumed. The ex-Cat and Amartey are about a fortnight away. - Marc McGowan

Cameron is back in full training but won't be available for selection having missed so much training load before returning from shutdown. Hutchings will be out of full training for at least another fortnight after a clean-up. O'Neill remains at home with family while his teammates head to the Gold Coast. - Mitch Cleary

Garcia has ramped up his training, but the Dogs will take a cautious approach with him. Zaine Cordy trained away from the main group with Duryea and Smith last Friday, but he is available for selection. - Jourdan Canil
