All public and AFL reserve tickets sold for Anzac Day blockbuster
THE ANZAC Day clash between Collingwood and Essendon is officially a sell-out after the last standing-room tickets were snapped up.
A statement released by the AFL on Thursday afternoon said, "There will be no further release of tickets."
A crowd of more than 90,000 is expected to attend the match, although the final figure will depend on how many MCC members show up.
Last year's Anzac Day crowd at the MCG was 93,373.
The AFL has also recommended that patrons pre-purchase reserve seats for Monday's top-of-the-ladder clash between Hawthorn and Geelong, given strong ticket sales.
The AFL wishes to advise that all tickets in the Public Reserve and AFL Reserve for the Round Six Anzac Day match between Collingwood and Essendon have sold out.
