- Whitfield returns for Giants
- LeCras, Ellis, Wellingham confirmed for Eagles
- Dons hand debut to former Giant

WEST COAST has confirmed Mark LeCras, Sharrod Wellingham and Xavier Ellis will return for Sunday's clash with Greater Western Sydney.

With final squads named for the only game that day, the Eagles have dropped Will Schofield, Scott Lycett and Simon Tunbridge.

The Giants regain Lachie Whitfield and veteran Josh Hunt, along with Aidan Corr and ruckman Andrew Phillips.

Jeremy Cameron was ruled out earlier in the week, after the forward was unable to fly to Perth due to an ear injury. Curtly Hampton and Adam Treloar are both out with ankle injuries while Jono O'Rourke has been dropped.

Star Sydney Swans Lance Franklin and Kurt Tippett were both picked on Thursday to face Hawthorn at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

The clash marks Franklin's hotly anticipated first meeting with his former side, while Tippett, who turned 27 on Thursday, will play his first game since last year's semi-final win over Carlton.

Swans ruckman Mike Pyke is out with a hamstring injury and Brandon Jack has been omitted.

Meanwhile, Jack Viney's successful appeal on his rough conduct charge on Thursday night means he is free to play against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night.

The Hawks have been forced to make two changes with Sam Mitchell (hamstring) and Brian Lake (calf) both out of the side that smashed St Kilda by 145 points last weekend.

Kyle Cheney, Ben Stratton and Will Langford all make their returns for the Hawks, while Angus Litherland is the unlucky Hawk to be left out.

Fremantle's backline will be severely undermanned with Luke McPharlin (quad) and Zac Dawson (ankle) unable to get up for the Dockers' battle with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

But midfield speedster Stephen Hill makes his return and Alex Silvagni is also back in the team.

Port Adelaide welcomes back Hamish Hartlett after his week layoff, while Alipate Carlile and rookie-elevated Kane Mitchell have also been brought back into the side.

However, the Power lose Tom Jonas with a groin injury.

The Brisbane Lions welcome back the experienced Jonathan Brown, Matt Maguire and Pearce Hanley for their meeting with Essendon at the Gabba on Saturday evening.

Jackson Paine has also been selected for the Lions, while Luke McGuane (knee), James Polkinghorne, Rohan Bewick and Mitch Golby make way for the returning quartet.

Essendon forward Jason Winderlich has failed in his bid to overcome a knee injury, left out of the Bombers squad that departs for Brisbane on Friday.

But his absence paves the way for former Greater Western Sydney player Kurt Aylett to play his first game for the Dons after some impressive showings in the VFL as a tagger.

Patrick Ambrose and Martin Gleeson have been recalled, with Ben Howlett (rested) and Jason Ashby left out.

Melbourne has made one change to its side for its face-off with the Western Bulldogs at the MCG on Saturday night as Colin Garland is welcomed back into the fray.

Garland, who was runner-up in the Demons' best and fairest count in 2013 has not played this year due to ankle surgery in January. Alex Georgiou, who was concussed in the Viney incident last weekend, has been omitted.

James Frawley, who has been battling a toe injury, will face a fitness test on Friday after failing to train on Thursday.

The Bulldogs have made three changes with veteran Daniel Giansiracusa, Jason Tutt and Fletcher Roberts named to take on the Demons.

Dogs coach Brendan McCartney has come out swinging, axing Koby Stevens, Michael Talia and Marcus Bontempelli.

St Kilda has made three changes for its Monday night match with Carlton, with Jarryn Geary (elbow), Tom Simpkin and Shane Savage all losing their places.

Terry Milera, Josh Bruce, Arryn Siposs, Luke Dunstan and Brodie Murdoch are all in line to replace them.

Kane Lucas and Tom Bell (finger) have been left out of Carlton's side, with Dennis Armfield, David Ellard, Chris Yarran, Jarryd Cachia and Matthew Watson in the mix to return.
