Jarrad Waite again on the outer as Blues look to arrest losing streak
CARLTON has dropped Jarrad Waite for the second time this season as the Blues seek to arrest a four-game losing streak against Collingwood on Sunday night.
Waite was dropped for round four against Melbourne, a game the Blues lost by 23 points.
Dennis Armfield has also been dropped for Sunday night while Marc Murphy returns after hamstring tightness forced the skipper to withdraw from last Sunday's loss to Greater Western Sydney.
The Blues have also named Blaine Johnson for his AFL debut. The 18-year-old was pick No. 43 in the 2014 rookie draft and was elevated to the main list earlier this year following the retirement of Heath Scotland.
Collingwood welcomes back Steele Sidebottom from suspension with Tyson Goldsack also returning. Marley Williams has been ruled out after rolling his ankle at training.
The Western Bulldogs’ injury woes continue with Jarrad Grant failing to recover from a hit to the nose. The Dogs have already lost Daniel Giansiracusa (suspension), Ryan Griffen (back) and Jordan Roughead (shoulder).
Impressive youngster Mitch Honeychurch will make his AFL debut for the Bulldogs. Sam Darley, Jake Stringer, and Lachie Stringer have also been included to face Melbourne.
The Demons have made four changes from the side that lost to North Melbourne. Dom Barry makes his AFL debut in his second year on Melbourne's list. Max Gawn, Daniel Nicholson and Dean Terlich also come in for Daniel Cross (leg), Jordie McKenzie (suspension), Aidan Riley and Tom McDonald.
Tom Lynch and Brad Crouch have been included for Adelaide in Sunday's vital Showdown at Adelaide Oval. Ben Rutten has been rested due to match-ups and David Mackay has also been withdrawn.
Hamish Hartlett returns for the Power after missing last week with an ankle problem while Jarman Impey has also been included.
