The Essendon Football Club has a reputation as a leader in the Australian sports industry, with well established values and behaviours. Driven to be recognised and respected as the most successful sporting club in Australia, both on and off the field, we are now seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department. This is contract position until October 2014 with the possibility of full time employment thereafter.
Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer within the Marketing Team, the successful candidate will be able to deliver high quality graphic design outcomes in accordance with the Clubs brand guidelines. Effectively manage the print production process, create and code HTML based marketing collateral and supply artwork for the Clubs official website and social media platforms.
The position suits an emerging designer, ideally with relevant tertiary qualifications. Industry experience will be advantageous, however not essential.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Proficient in Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
- HTML knowledge is essential
- Proficient on Mac platform
- Tertiary qualification in graphic design, or related field, is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and to meet tight deadlines.
